Nine Springbok players released for Club rugby
Nine Springboks who are not on match day squad for fixture against Ireland in Durban on Saturday have been released so they can play club rugby this coming weekend
The Springboks, having gone 1-0 up in the series in Pretoria last Saturday, have already named their match day squad for the second Test and some of the players deemed surplus to requirements have the opportunity to get game time, while delighting their provinces and competition and team sponsors.
Six players to rejoin the squad
Six of the nine players who are released will rejoin the Boks on Sunday before the Test against Portugal in Bloemfontein
Due to return on Sunday are Trevor Nyakane (prop), Makazole Mapimpi, Edwill van der Merwe (both wings), André Esterhuizen, Lukhanyo Am (both centres) and Aphelele Fassi (fullback).

The other three players are Jan-Hendrik Wessels (prop), Phepsi Buthelezi (loose forward) and Morne van den Berg (scrumhalf).
Springboks will take on Ireland in the 2nd test this coming Saturday in Durban, the game will start at 17:00 live on Supersport Premium, less than 10% of the country will be able to watch the game this is after SABC announced they will no longer be showing the games
