It is now official that Cavin Johnson is no longer a head Coach for Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
The Former Platinum Stars and Supersport United mentor served as the interim head coach for Kaizer Chiefs from October last year until the end of the season.
Cavin Johnson say Goodbye
Cavin Johnson took over when Chiefs Fired Molefi Ntseki following the team being knocked out of the Carling Knockout Cup .
“Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to an amicable parting of ways with head of Academy, Cavin Johnson,” Chiefs Said in a statement
“Johnson joined Kaizer Chiefs last year (2023) in September to take up his role at the Club.
“The departure is part of the restructuring process that the Club is undertaking.
“We wish to thank Mr Johnson for his contribution to Kaizer Chiefs and wish him well in the future.”
Under Johnson’s leadership, Chiefs finished 10th failing to qualify for Top 8, this is the worst finish by Kaizer Chiefs in the PSL Era
The Phefeni Glamour Boys are expected to announce Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi as their new head coach soon.
